Pool 4 cattin first time in ’03

I made it out looking for some channel cats on Wednesday without much luck. I fished a backwater on the upper end of pool 4 and found 50.5 degree water in some very slow currnet by a logjam. I know it’s a little early, but I just had to try it. We had 3 “runs” but no takers, as they dropped the cutbait before the hookset. Sooooo….they are very close, just need the water to warm up a little bit yet.

cool cool!……….its good to know that at least they are starting to be more active. I should be back in town a couple weeks…..hopefully i can catch a couple channels then….or at leats get out.
