    Brian and Chappy,
Congratulations on the nice Walleyes, and also for trying to revive the big one. I even sent Chappy a PM before I saw a pic of the fish, as asked (jokingly) if he caught it on a 7″ Bullhead. well maybe he did, it looks like.
Well Brian, are you now in the Walleye guiding Business??? You’d sure put a dent in the Bullhead population. Do you use a trailer hook when you use them for Walleyes???
    Nice night out.
    Jack..

No trailer hook and before anyone askes…I don’t use a worm blower on them either!

You know Jack…you’ll have to mount a 7 inch bullhead for it’s mouth.

Chappy that would make one sweet mount with the eye taking a bully down
I actually was targeting the eyes with the canoe.. I found some sows in a spot while scouting and wanted to take my GF back out so she could get a big one. We fish the namekagon up by my cabin in N sconi and they have some big cats in there. Thought about trying with the solo canoe but I think I would have to tie the rope to me not the canoe . It would be a ride worth paying for

I’m not sure how well a bullhead mount would work. I would think it would be tough with the type of skin they have. Perhaps they could do a bullhead replica?

Chappy they might have to freeze dry the bully to get the best result… its a little $$$ but they turn out great. My buddys dad did one with a mink mount and it looked great.

My brother’s mount has an inch or so perch on it. Looks like they just Lacquered it as is. I guess that really isn’t practical for a 7″ Bullhead.

If I ever gut hooked a flathead, I’d have no problem cutting the line. If there ever was a fish that could survive a hook in it’s throat, it’s a flatty. I guess as long as it wasn’t bleeding. Nothing bugs me more than pulling in a fish and finding your hook swallowed.

Taxidermist can get replicas of most minnows, leeches, and crawlers.. they just paint them. I dont know if bullheads are available, call a couple taxidermist and ask.

Maybe its time to add a *Bonus Fish* section to the photo page on your website Brian?

I’ve had about enough of the pictures of those goofy fish in this section. Ew!
