Spring Catfish Bite

    Im a newbie to the possibilities of Spring Catfishin on the Mississippi (Red Wing Area). IF anyone has the time to reply with any suggestions in regards to when it might happen/where/baits etc. It would be apprecited. Same inquiries for the Crappie bite…thanks-rip their lips.

    If the ice is off, now should be the time. Anywhere you find dead shad – look in shallow bays on the windward side of the lake.
