I am going out on my first flathead fishing trip of the year early tomorrow morning. I went out to a local creek today, and seined up some bait. Along with the chubs and shiners I got some bullfrog tadpoles. Bullfrogs are common in southern Iowa, and it is legal to use them for bait, unlike Minnesota where bullfrogs are both rare and protected. Since I can use them for bait, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if flathead (or mudcat as we call them back in SE Minnesota 
) will hit bullfrog tadpoles?
