Anybody been around the Mississippi or Minnesota today?

Does either one look like it will be fishable tomorrow (Sat) or is the water too high?

By boat? I be a bit hesitant personally, the water it up quite a way, and there has been some full sized tree floating down the river, but if your careful, it’s do able, keep your eyes open, and wear your lifejacket all the time.

Sorry, I neglected to mention that I won’t take the boat out there right now. I was going to try to hit up some of my regular shore spots. Think it’s worth it?

Depends where you’ll be fishing. I think the Miss will be more fishable than the Minnesota. Where the dams are regulating the water, I think it’ll be fishable. I plan on giving it a shot.

I saw a lot of shore fisherman doing the long walk the other day.
Walking to thier fishing site and then walking back, on both the MISS and MN. Most normal spots will be under water at this time. I was on the river Tues. Its up from then.
    good luck
    thanks
