I receive this new RiverPro Catfish Bait the other day and it’s design is just as unique as River Pro Boats themselves. Something completely different but effective.

I have to admit, when I first opened the box I was wondering if this was a joke, but after pricking my finger on the hook, I realize this was no toy. Constructed with the quality that River Pro puts into it’s “water tanks”, they can be used anywhere, just like the boats….deep or shallow water.

Using cut bait or live bullheads – this will be THE new bait for 2006!!!

Are you hooking your bass through the head or back with this new set up? Also, I would think you need more wieght to keep them smallies on the bottom

geeze, a 3 oz should hold them bottom feeders just fine, heck if you even give a smallie a dirty look they turn belly up let alone trying to have them swim around with a weight in tow

So, I guess you shouldn’t use the 3 oz sinker… Who would have guessed?

Now I just got word that they aren’t that hard to come by….The tree shorelines up around Monticello have numbers of them.

Very easy to find in the fall when the leaves fall off.

They do catch cats. Even when not tipped with “bait”.
I shared one with my brother and he actually had a couple cats hit them when fishing the upper ‘sippi!

Quit picking on bass! Bass are people too you know. I’ve yet to see a catfish smart enough to try and throw a hook by jumping and shaking it’s head. Excuse me now, I need to be by myself.
