Just got the latest In-Fisherman in the mail today and there is a small insert about a Blue Catfish (tagged) that traveled 498 MILES during a 5 month period. It’s the longest distance traveled so far by a Blue in their studies.

I was going to say that some bass fisherman transported it that far… But I don’t think they could go that far without eating it…so I won’t.

That is amazing! I’ve read studies where flats will “migrate” up to 60 miles…but almost 500 miles? That’s 3.3 miles per day in a strait line. Guess I’ll have to wait to see the weight of the fish and if it was a loop or straight down stream…

    Thanks Slop!

I knew Slop was a Catman on the side.
