These three pics of cats caught back in August of 2002 are sent out to us by Dirk Wassink The first two are of Dirk with a huge flathead he’s struggling to hold for the camera!

And this last one is from a trip he shared with fishing buddy Adam Winn, from Onalaska, WI. Dirk says they’ve got this young lad on a weight lifting program now so he’ll be able to hold these big fish “all the way up” for the camera next season..!

    Thanks for the pics Dirk.

If anyone else has a photo or two they’d like to share with us here at FTR, simply send the photo out as a .jpg attachment in an e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll gladly get that posted here just as quickly as we can.

    Good fishin’,

All three of those fish pictured are great memories for me. The middle one is the one that pulled my boat downstream and the top one is the last big one I got this year. I remember me and Mike telling Adam to lift his fish higher for the pic and he kept saying “I can’t, I can’t”. We’ll hit em hard again next year. Lets get out and get some eyes soon. Maybe that one guy who used to fish with every so often could even join us.

They are some beautiful fish. I also love to target big flatheads. One of my favorite rivers to do this is the Wapsipinicon River in Iowa. Small river. Huge fish. Also the Rock River in Illinois is also great. Tight lines
