Stormy weather…

Went out tonight and for some reason didn’t do my usual radar check. About the time I had my bait the storm was rolling in. I set up for a little while and caught a channel, then sought shelter under a little railroad bridge to wait out the storm. About 9:00 I started fishing again and got three flats – 8,9, and 20. Danged wind was blowing me upstream in gusts and I got sick of fighting it after awhile. Bite seemed to be on, though.

Here’s a pic of the channel, mainly to show the clouds that were rolling in:

    Very unique picture there Matt!

Almost looks like you had your picture taken at Sears!

Are you into your fall fishing pattern yet Matt?

Flats are playing hide and seek up here…it’s been pretty slow…although the channels have been giving us some action.

    It’s background #34 – “Ominous Storm Front”

It was between that and Blues Clues.

No, the fall pattern hasn’t kicked in quite yet. Water needs to cool down some, it’s still at 74 here.
