Fished north of Stillwater on Wednesday night. Water temp was 72 degrees and pool elevation is about at normal levels around 675.4′. Caught one small channel and a 34″ sturgeon that thought he was a big flathead. That guy stayed down and gave me a heck of a tussle – I thought I had a pretty good flat on until he came all the way out of the water at boatside. Those sturgeon blow your mind when they start coming up and just keep on going all the way out of the water. It was a beautiful night but no flatheads to be had.
