    Hey guys,

A group of us are going up to “Cats On The Red” the third weekend in September. I have booked a room for saturday the 17th through Monday the 19th (Each room accomadates 5).
We will be heading home on Tuesday morning the 20th.

Anyone want to join us and have a little unofficial cat mans gathering, catch big channels until your arms are sore and have a great time with some forum buddies?

My understanding at this time is that we have 1 maybe 2 openings in our cabin/boat.

    RED SEPTEMBER is coming soon!

If interested, please send a PM and I’ll get the details to you.

God that sounds like a great trip but that I would love to take. To short of notice for me, wish I would have had more time and I would see if I could swing it. Anyway if you have time give me a call on your way through Grand Forks and I’ll try give you current update on what and where to go up there. I have a buddie that is great freinds with them up there. Also I heard that they bite better when your wearing a PINK dress

UPDATE: from reports from last weekend, if you didn’t have any frogs your not going to catch many fish. Now this can change very fast but word has it you had better bring the up because from reports there hard to find up there. Just remember to have them all dead when you cross the bordor.

Why are frogs hard to find?
Are they just not around this year, or do most guys not know where to look?
Just wondering ‘cuz I know a spot.

If you thinking about the Golf course I have just heard that they are thin, our maybe just picked over. With everyone going up there, It just might be hard to find them up there. I would just as soon make sure I have them then, just hope you can find them. Anyway best of luck to all that are going on this trip. I’m guessing that its going to take 5 plus ozs. to get you bait to the bottom with the current that going throw here. When I go up North I don’t hit the river until it starts getting dark. If you do fish during the day you can pick them up if the bite is on but just when until sunset. Also remember if you have never been up there before. Your hooks most be barbless. Just pinch the down with a needlenose.

    Have fun

Here is a picture of a guest I had out last weekend.
