Oct 1st the fishing season over? No way.. sleeping season will be over however…

Fish until 3:30 am.. stop at gas station for coffee and sandwich.. head strait to the slough, on the water by 5 am.. off the slough at 11 am, sleeping by 1 pm, wake up at 8 pm, back to fishing by 10 pm..

How difficult does it have to be?

I’m with Dave on this one. There’s definitely time to do both. When hunting season rolls around I usually cut my fishing time down, but not out.

And Ralph, I already got duck opener taken care of. I don’t work Friday nights or Saturdays. I’m good to go

Oct 1st…duck day….i hear ya on that one!…….early goose season starts Sept 1st in WI and we can basically shoot geese until mid december. UNFORTUNATELY, lately i have been preparing for the hunting season which has cut back my fishing immensely!
