I could probably fix you up. If you would like to hold the other end of a seine net, we could be done pretty quick. My problem is that my favorite spot is plum full of bullies but they are kind of small.

Not necesarily…If you launch within the boundary waters limits, track to track, right? You should be able to…

Commanchero.. let me know when you need someone on the other end of the seign.. If I have the time, I am more than willing to help out regardless.

I need to get out on my local bullhead hole in the boat here and get them the old fashion way.. hook and line.. takes a little longer.. but they average a chunky 7″ and are mean.. I think Brian did a bit of bleeding from them earlier this year.

Eye Guide, I don’t have the rules…with me, but I’m almost certain you can’t take live fish across the border…and I now you can’t transport minnows across the border legally.

    I don’t know anyone that does it…but if I would buy suckers/fatheads in Prescott…legally I can’t take them to MN and launch…

Pesonally, I’m thinking the DNR’s have too much to do to give tickets out for the “finer” violations of the law. Unless the CO is a jerk or you are being a jerk…I’m thinking this type of violation goes unnoticed.

Fisher Dave? Hope you like red licorice!

The minnow license to transport minnows across borders is in the $400 range… $14 if your not crossing borders.

The minnow license is what is required to legally transport them.. I dont foresee any of us getting a $400 license to transport bait.

Only if you lived within the boundary waters!

For fishing purposes, you do not cross the border until you cross the railroad tracks on either side of the river.
