While fishing for bait look what I found It was fun to catch on 2lb and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to hit it Just kidding….I think they are to muddy for a Flatty’s likings any way

The total for the night was 9, 14, and a 15 pounder. I have been struggling trying to get the big un latley
The 14 and 15 pounders came out of the same hole, 18 FOW and a good current seam.

All in all it was a great night. I didn’t find a cat until around 2:00am. By this time the number one daughter was keeping me company, sleeping on the floor of the boat I was able to get her to her feet for a pic of the 15 pounder. She never even moved for the other 2 cats 18 years old and shes finding out she can’t keep up with her Old Fart of a Dad

She had a blast on the river at night though. Thats was all she wanted. Next time maybe she will stay up longer

    Good luck fishing people

Nice looking fish Bret, always fun fishing with the family. I took my sister this morning to catch a few gills. We were doing fine until the wind blew us up the river. We moved out of the wind a little and tried for eyes, she caught her biggest ever at 19 inches, wow was she happy. she wants to know when we are going again. John

I don’t know there…Bret…once I enlarged the photo of that 15…I could see the green of a bass tail sticking out of her mouth…are you sure you released that bass?

    Nice fish!

PS a rubber snake works well to keep the girls up…someone taught me that just a few weeks ago!

She was so dead to the world, I don’t think the real thing would have helped.
Being she was sleeping, I wasn’t so sure that she had a good time.
I was wrong, mother said it was all she talked about Sunday afternoon
