Took an Old Buddy of mine from when I was Navy out today near Stoddard. It was hotter than two rats ……. in a wool sock, but thank god for a breeze. We managed 10 nice cats. 9 chanels and one mud cat. All were solid 2-3 lb fish. Good eaters. Lost two HUGE fish, not sure what they were, but they sure pulled alot of drag before they (1) busted off, (2) spit the hook.
It was Neils first fishing trip since he was a kid. He had a blast. He caught more fish today that ne had in his entire life up to now. He is hooked. Sometimes its nice to get a grown-up into fishing, not just kids.
