This is my son Tlyer with his largest catch to date.. he caught this on his own.. we did nothing more than make sure the rod didnt get ripped out of his hands.

    Tylers 6# channel

*Fisher Sherry* (My fiance)and my 13 year old nephue Micheal with their DOUBLE..

both fish weighed exactly the same.. a hair over 20#

And the *fish god* having sympathy for me for working so hard to coach, and net the double..

Kids are the future of fishing, and what better way than to spend some time with the family than making it out for a memorable trip for the kids.

There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a child reel in a big fish. Those boys were both very happy last night.

Oh… and did anyone notice that MY fish is quite a bit larger than Fisher Dave’s fish?

    Hey Sherry!
I did notice that! I also noticed that there isn’t a big orange circle behind anybody in the pictures or sidewalk under anyones feet. I think you guys have moved. Nice report Dave, Sherry, and Tyler!

That’s not what I heard Sherri! I heard rumors that he’s softening the hook eye’s and putting nicks in your line to ensure if you do catch something big…it gets away.

Or wasn’t I too tell her that Dave?

I’ll have to ask Tyler about that one next time I see him. In the mean time let him know I said, “nice catch”.

Ohhh he’s hooked alright! He starts asking if we can go fishing in the morning and keeps it up all day till we go in the evening. He cries if I say we may not go tonight.

Naaa … Brian knows I play fair.. It was heartbreaking even for me when Sherry lost that monster not so long ago..

I think she finally got some *weight off her shoulders* last night when I myself lost a monster fish… this one was attatched to 80 lb power pro and had no problem pulling line off my 6500 as tight as it goes.. I was honestly in fear of my rod breaking. It was another one of those cases where the fish didnt even know it was hooked for a while.. then it had its way with me for a while.. eventually it settled in a spot it thought it was safe and I slowly started to lift it up.. all of about 5 inches before it realized it was hooked.. a couple crazy runs and it was all of a sudden gone.. I got my rig back complete with a 4 oz no roll, 90# swivel, and a 9/0 Gamakatsu… I guess it wasnt meant to be caught.. I sure wish I could have saw it.

It left me with the *one that got away story*.. and I truely believe it relieved Sherry on losing a monster a few weeks ago.. she got to see it doesnt only happen to her..

    It’s all in fishing.

The one that got away is what makes a person spend all night fishing without having a bite!

It’s good to have a few left up to the imagination! Although frustrating…

No… No relief, it still upsets me very much when I think about it. I am the Queen of losing big fish though. I should be used to it.

Sherry…the way I look at it…the odds are with you on landing your next big one.

    It’s going to happen…
