I say stomp on it like a goby on lake michigan and send remains to DNR guys to see if the thing can be stopped from spreading. I think they damage the panfish populations….

What is that? it looks just like a largemouth to me…or almost like a spotted bass..

    Bigfish….

It’s a largemouth. The folks in the cat forum have fun picking on the bass and eye guys from time to time. It’s all in fun (except for Catten Addict…he gets alittle wacko when you talk to him about bass or eyes! )

I asked him if he had a jig one day and his reply was “why? St Patty’s Day was several months ago )

*That* is just a baby largemouth about 6″ long.. sure would make a nice flathead minnow… B@ss are not my favorite fish in the world.

As ironic as it is, 4 cast before I caught that fish, I caught a 34″ spotted phase musky on that 3/4 oz spinnerbait.. probably would have caught another one sooner if I would have left that b@ss on there and kept casting. I use a heavier bait so the b@ss dont hit it very often.

Now if that was a 24″ spinnerbait, I would be impressed.

I was very impressed… that fish actually got that hook that far into its mouth at the speed it was going. The hook was nearly in its throat.

Dave if you start using bass for flatties I am going to start using cat fry for bass!

I actually caught 2 channels about 5 or 6 inches the other day that a bass would have loved to inhale! Of course I would have cut the spines off first to protect the bass.

Does this post mean I am not allowed to fish with you anymore?
