Great fish, Brian. No luck here, not one bona fide run. Well… one run, but it may have been a walleye, we had some pretty small bluegills out there. At any rate, it wasn’t on my rig. Only two hours on the water would be a great excuse, but they were theoretically the two best hours.

Looks like you have the code cracked Brian. I owe you a buck, but remember it’s “earn-a-buck” here in Wisconsin, so I’ll have to shoot a doe first, it could be awhile before I get a shot at a decent buck.

Well .. I think I am ruined for a couple weeks.. unless I manage to pull a couple monsters out of the river. We hit the lake for a while for bait(bullies) and we managed 2 muskies, a 16″ bass, and I had a 24″ walleye in my hand for a brief moment that Walleye GFA caught.. then I went to the river for 2 hours and caught a 23.XX flattie and nothing seemed very significant after handling Brian’s fish last night.

Its pretty bad when you have to stop and think about it to be sure you had a decent day?

Nice fish there Brian. What does one like that weigh? To bad those fish dont bite during the day on jigs and crank baits.

Matt…I love venison ring breakfast sausage…I’ll take my buck that way…all of it!

It was 44 and some change Mike…you need to start fishing with some real bait…bullheads!
