Pool 2 has been giving up some nice fish lately. I was out again on Tuesday night and caught this one. She hit my bullhead just before midnight.

I kind of like the “guess my weight” game, so I think I’ll let you catmen try to figure it out.

Tim, the look on your face is way to serious…It’s a replica isn’t it?

I’m not sure if that cat swollowed the bullhead which would add some weight…but I’ll guess….

Nice fish, Tim. You are kind of holding it out which makes it hard to guess. I will say 25#. I’ve got a feeling I could be off by a few though.

I think the last couple guess’s are a bit light based on the head size of the kitty. I will reckon a guess of 39lbs

If your around 6′ tall(or close) that fish weighs in the neighborhood of 35 lbs.. I am comparing to a fish I had on the scale held the same way that weighed 40 pounds.. yours is a little bit smaller… I have the photo in my hand comparing it to the picture on the screen.

    Very nice cat.

CA! You can’t see the size of his head the way he’s holding her….

Kilogram’s? Anyone got the conversion chart handy?

    About a stone bloak.

It’s easily over two stone, or about 20 meen. Just to be clear, that’s 20 mina, or around 800 shekels. ‘Bout a half-talent.

I’d actually put it closer to a pood, as my earlier guess makes quite clear.

BrianK, you can see the size of his hand in that mouth – lots of extra room. The sideways shots almost always make them look smaller.

Here’s another shot of the same fish. Sorry the pic doesn’t show the whole fish, it’s a little difficult taking pictures alone..

    Any new guesses?

Sorry to leave you in suspense Jetcat, but after you had to be smart and guess 17 kilograms, everyone went crazy and started to give out weird units of measure. It took me all night to convert everything and find a winner.

I think RALPHTHENEWBER had the closest guess at 39.5 lbs.

The actual weight of the fish was 41.3 lbs.
