Pool 2: June 11

I brought an old friend of mine along on Saturday night to chase some flatheads on Pool 2. We started around 9pm. It ended up being a short night because my friend started to feel pretty sick around midnight . There’s nothing worse than coming down with the flu when you’re out fishing, so we headed in. We missed quite a few fish but did manage to get two in the boat. The first one was the biggest, just over 36lbs and the second was about 10. It was pretty good for only a few hours of fishing.

P.S. Anyone else fish P2?

PS I’m going to have to remember to turn my anchor light off when taking pictures…that a great idea!

Hey MH!

I haven’t fished pool 2 yet. But living 5 minutes from the Lilydale landing I plan on fishing kitties there soon. I also am suppose to hook up with Mike W and fish walleyes on pool 2. And I’m supposed to hook up with Tuck and fish pool 3. And…. Man I need to eliminate a lot of stuff from my schedule and get out fishing more!
