When you are using bullheads as bait, are you using them as live bait or cut bait?? Also, what kind of rigging are you using for them?

Live bullheads. You can rig them through the dorsal like a shiner or through both lips. I run a 2-5 oz sinker, bead, swivel, 6 inch to 18 inch leader depending on the structure I am fishing, and a 10/0 live bait hook from Gamgatsu. I run 65 pound power pro and am going to 80 after I wear that out. You will need a baitcaster with a line out alarm and you will need to tighten down your brake. A big bullhead will take line on you if you don’t. Good luck.
