Monday i decided to wake up a little early so could go and try to get a big one. Well on my hand it was a decint one. On monday i woke up and went and caught sum blugills down at goose island cuase i camp there all sumer long and have a 15 horse everuide with a 14 foot v botom. After i was done catchin the bait i went and through out my 2 big flat head poles. i had been siting there for at least a hour then i thought i wouldnt get a run but sure enough 15 minutes later i had a run it started of slowly then took right off. then i went and got a great hook set and caught a nice 13 lb flat head it wassent the biggest but it was decent. And also gave a great fight. .i thought it was stil early for flat heads but i was wrong.well if u ever see me i am a 13 year old boy with a green v botom on 15 horse so if u see me give me a wave.

    Thank,

i havent been doing much cat fishin lately but i was wondering do cat like to bite in the morning, day,or night. Cause i have been wanting to get out for a while but dont have the time. But i think i might hit my hole up this weekend with sum blugills see if i can land a nice Cat.

They will bite anytime…but they feed mainly the hour before and after sunset, a little push around midnight, then again the hour before and after sunrise.

Best time to go fishing…is when you can!
