MUDCAT GUIDES

I am not sure if this is the appropriate forum to list this on, but aside from setlines I have caught only one large Mudcat in my entire life and that guy was only 27 lbs.

Perhaps it is lack of patience, time, poor bait or whatever. However, now being a senior citizen if there is anyone out there that guides for Mudcat please let me know. Pool 4 is out, but if there are any good guides out there that are willing to give it a try, night preferred or day, on pools 5, 5A, 6 or 7 please let me know.

If this post is inappropriate please let me know. However, under the guide section there are no mudcat guides and I know several of you do a good job fishing for them.

Finally, mudcat means mudcat, this is not a channel cat request.

If you cannot respond on this board just E mail me at [email protected].

    Thanks

The only guy that fishes any of those pools that I know of is FlatheadWI, and although he is not a guide…could put you on some nice fish. Don’t let all the pictures fool you, sometimes it takes us quite a few hours on the water for those forties. 27 lbs. is nothing to sneeze at either.
