Well, unfortunaltey that is all we got last night. Brian K and I got out to kick off the 2005 Cat Season. Got a couple of hits on cut bait, but got nothing to the boat.
The photo is of Brian and his “Cat-like” reflexes during one of our few bites. I couldn’t resist that one! What is he doing with his hands anyway? Probably trying to ge the lutey cutbait smell off his hands!
Better days are yet to come. Water was 53 degrees. This cold and wind won’t help! Thanks for coming with!

I would say he is warming his hands for how chilled it is at night

I say if it itches, you got to scratch it!

Cannon River has been putting out some good average size channels over the last week. Dont rule out cats in cold water.

I would have recognized him had he had his Pink hat on. I do know you have to lay low to not spook those night time Kitties.

Tuck, you are a brave man having Brian in your boat after dark. Been there during the day but as the sun went down his eyes started getting wider and I figured it was time to go. His eyes didn’t start to shine, did they?

BTW, I do have a hunk of lutey in the freezer. Think it would work for kitties? Maybe a new secret weapon.

Brian, I look forward to the payback! We had fun, that was the important thing! Putz, I did have my Guide Wear zipped all the way up just for safety.
Dress or no dress, you are OK in my book !

So that’s what the master lock was for?!

Jack – FYI- I never wear pink when I go fishing…too many can see it and between other boats following and crowding me…it’s just not worth it…it’s kind of a sign…FISH HERE!

Joking aside…Thanks for the ride along…and education. I’m always amaze at what I learn everytime I go out with someone I meet on this board. Next time we go…it’s going to be warmer and neither of us will be working early the next morning… so my boss will allow me to stay out past 11! But most importantly…you’ll be focusing your camera on fish….and not my backside…

    Lutey?????
Putz, if a dog won’t roll in it, cats won’t eat it.
On the other hand I’ve got some very aged fox and coyote bait I’ll send you, but it would have to be used with a dip worm.

I remember fox bait. Think I’ll pass. Thanks anyway, Herb.

Backside? Oh….I was trying to figure out how you got your face on top of your shoe like that. Now everything makes more sense.
