You can see that they already don’t like eachother……. They’re not facing eachother. That’ll change! Congrat’s on the “Double” Hope you can afford 9 rods next year!!!
Heck of a deal. They don’t need licenses, you get 6 more rods in the boat, and you can dunk the diapers for channel cat chum (should bring them cats right to the boat).
I showed your post to my wife. She thought the kids were beautiful but she gave me the big reality check. She told me you can cancel your dreams of 9 rods in the boat. She said your life as you know it has changed forever. Your fishing schedule is now regulated by some pretty demanding friends. You’ll be lucky to fish period – time to practice those diaper techniques. Sorry, buddy.
Thanks for the kind wishes. They are really a handful right now. I already have 9 tipups and did very well with them right up to the end of season so I can’t wait to take them when they get big enough. They actually like each other so much they will only sleep together in the same crib. As you can see they have already been indoctrinated in Badger red. I need to get my boat out of storage soon and the first battle skirmish is on the horizon. I have a cool wife who understands the passions of a riverman. She is from Dubuque.
…..sippy cups, video games, toilet paper, chips, candy, sandwiches, potty chair (use the bait well if you have one), kiddy life jackets, juice pockets, raisins, diapers, wet wipes, and about 20 other things I forgot…..but they are usually worth it . Congrats.
Once again, thanks for all the nice wishes. Being a first time dad is a trip. Oh and Jetcat, I do buy my bullheads but I pay very little for them which is a sound business decision when faced with a choice of fishing less or more. My grandpa used to turn me an my cousin Pete loose on big bullheads when we were just able to see over the boat side. I can’t wait to pass that one on.
