Catfish on TV

Anyone seeing any good catfish segments on TV this year? I haven’t seen a single decent catfish show this season. I think the Linders forgot what a cat is. In-Fish did one and it was almost a exact repeat of one they did last year. Same snag, same fish, etc. Yuck!!

Saw a nice channel caught on some commercial this morning for Big Stone lake. They were catching greenies also.

I have my Tivo constantly scanning for catfish!

I saw the daytime flathead on cutbait segment with Hoffman on the Minnesota river I am sure.

A segment on Blues on the Tennessee River with Phil King on NAF’s show.

Some goofy Shaw Grigsby Catfish Dynomite sales pitch episode.

Pro Team Journal did a Red River episode with their drags set way too light and looked like fools, not to mention they made a big deal about the host fishing with 2 rods (and getting a double by himself) which is illegal.

I saw some show with Jeff Williams drifting for blues.

And something else on the Red River which I can’t really recall.

Overall nothing spectacular.

I seen a few, I beilieve it was on Bill Dance. They were catching them from bobbers in some pond.

Hey Dirk, I agree the Lindners need to do some catfish shows…I hope they get “inspired” sometime soon. I saw Hoffman catching Flattys on daytime cutbait last week on IF too. I’m sure he was on the Minnesota upstream from Mankato somewhere. I’ve heard he spends “extra” time on the Minnesota when the river is decent.

My stack of catfishing videos is helping a little bit ! I want to pick that one up from CC about the Rock River Flatheads.

Dirk, I have access to cameras. We can film our own, and watch them in January and February. Just let me know when you are ready! We need someone who does not want to fish, and just film. That is the hard part!
