Ok, enough silence, time for all of you tight lipped buggers to start opening up. Need some posts here. Remember me, I’m the guy who quit smoking so he could afford a new boat and motor. Boat and motor work great and I still don’t smoke. Figured out how to catch flatheads after dark. A couple 10 + pounders. A couple for the pan and a couple back to the river. Exploring wing dams the other evening, Walleys kept getting in the way. Guess I should stick to the liver, Walleys don’t seem to like that.

The last couple time I’ve been out things have slowed considerably. Just a couple cats each night along with a couple misses…..I”m wondering if they’re not thinking about spawning as the water temps hover around 70 degrees because I know it couldn’t be my fishing skills…LOL.

slowing down??????????????????? no way. the cats especially the flatheads have been biting very well. B4 the storm monday we got a bunch of flatheads on the croix. One was 44″. If you can find them, they are hungry. Only problem is I am going through tackle like crazy. gonna need to order some more 9/0 hooks.
