FTR Visitor Pics – Awesome channel cats!

    This photo comes out to us from Michael “mavzer” Maves and is a pic of himself and fishing buddy Lance Hove with a couple handfuls of big channels…. EACH!! These fish were caught, and yes RELEASED after the photo, this past weekend. According to mavzer, the cat bite has been picking up nicely and the cat tourney participants should be in for some really good fishing in the coming weeks.

    If you’re looking to improve you knowledge of how and where to catch cats on the Mississippi River, the cat club tourney these guy run out of Everts Resort is the way to get in on the fast-track! Give ’em a holler if you’re interested. I believe there’s still some room to get in on the club.

    dang nice channels there guys!! What was the largest one ya got that day?

    I think my channel cat catchin skills went to pot on me….. last summer i would get sick of em allways bitting when i was tryin to get flatheads…. now i cant even get one one! Arrgh!
