Here’s a shot of a REALLY big flathead caught by Brian “mudcatkid” Schmidt. He didn’t send us any specifics on length or girth so maybe he’ll stop in and share some of the info with us too.
If anyone else has a photo or two they’d like to share with us here at FTR, simply send the photo out as a .jpg attachment in an e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll gladly get that posted here just as quickly as we can.

Yeah, don’t catch anything like that again at least until I catch 5 like that, at least 3 or just 1, but what ever you do put him back, lol. Nice fish hope to meet you the next time we have league in just a mere 12 days.

Yeah, i never hada scale, but my guess was 40 or so— (?) Others say it should be like 45, but i think it was in 40s or so, just looks big in picture.
He was from last year. Of course he was my biggest, if i could constantly catch fish that size i would poo my pants! LOL. and yeah, we let him go, let all of em go actually. If ya look close, the eye on the right was gone… ony one eye! Figures… i catch the dumb and blind ones. lol
