Hey guys,
I was just wondering how everyone approaches catching flatheads.
I like to intercept cats on the move at night when they are out feeding.Looking for shallow areas where there is plenty of food for them to eat.
I don’t fish snags or hole too often where they hole up most of the time.

To answer your question…on the sippi, where I’ve fished the wing dams it’s always the bedroom hole….on the mystic St Croix…early morning and evening I’ve been fishing the up stream edges of holes…but on the flats in the hopes of finding one going to or from the bedroom…hasn’t been working too good for me so far…although I’ve been running into some channels this way…
