Biggest fish to date. 
Took a kong sized bully a little after midnight. Slammed the rod and just took off like a bat outta hell. 
Trying to stop him was like trying to stop a frieght train on ice. It wasn’t until after the sun rose that I finally landed this bruiser. JetCat and Dirk ain’t got nothin on me.

Are you sure that fish isn’t the bait you were using ? If not , must have been it’s first solid meal ! Least you didn’t get skunked.
I realize that ANY fish caught is a reward of effort but you set this post up perfectly and I about spit all over my screen when I saw the pic! Awesomely done and thanks for adding to the enjoyment we share here on IDA!
I’d like to commend you on a successful release so she may be caught again someday……… provided SHE doesn’t get eaten by a bullhead!
