Out tonight…

    Went out tonight for a short jaunt, found a few – got them in two spots. Actually caught my biggest “second spot” fish, a 28 pounder. Had five hits altogether, caught three. Here’s the 28:

    Haven’t posted in awhile, but I’ve been out plenty. My nephew’s been hogging the good end of the boat. Here’s a couple he caught last week, a 23 and a 25:


    He’s getting a little cocky, may have to make him use his own poles if he doesn’t watch it, lol.

    I’m just in the habit of wearing knee boots. They come in handy at the landing and in shallow spots, but also keep the mosquitos off the ankles. Of course, they’re real nice for wading through the crap my guests always seem to give me when they outfish me in my own boat

    It’s nice to see some fish pictures! I’m on a short leash this weekend…no fishing trips. I wear hip boots 75% of the time, and the other 25% I wish I had them on. Nice fish Matt.

    Good of you to let the nephew hsve the good end of the boat. He’ll never forget fishing with his uncle, I’ll bet!
