Quality Catfish Literature

Many of the guys that visit this catfish board often inquire about how to get good catfish information. Well, a few months back I stumbled across http://www.procats.com. It’s an on-line magazine that’s strictly devoted to hard-core catfishing. I think it comes out 4 times per year. I’ve read the last issue and just read some of the articles in the most recent one and they are pretty informative. It costs about 30$/year to subscribe so you’ll have to decide on your own if it’s right for you. But if your like me, and are always looking for quality catfishing info, you might want to give it a try. So far I think its a good one.

Good call Dirk! I was looking at that site last week. Sent in my $30 big ones on Monday. I’m hoping that the mag is as informative as the web site.
The only thing …I see is that they have some ugly looking staff…at least the pretty cat’s make up for it!

So far they are puting out a great magazine. Lots of great info. And good guys too, I’ve fished with about half of the staff and those guys really know their stuff.

Brian, who looks at the humans in those pictures? I can’t take my eyes off of those big cats!

ya, i lurked at that site a long time……… but never became a member untiul early this summer….. i wish i woulda earlier. i agree, there is some great reading material…. i just wish i could bring thier “magazine” to the thrown, cuz thats where i get my real reading done

i might have to disagree with Brian……. i tend to find the ProCats personnel strickingly attractive, in a picturesque kinda way. Some times i am so stunned by thier looks that i dont even realize the catfish.

Guess it just goes to show how low we (yes I said we) will go to get good cat tips…….BUT I still don’t like whiskers on anything I have my mouth on!!!
