We had an interesting trip down south the other day. Started with towing a dead in the water boat…which I’m glad to do since it could be me sometime. Had the sherriff stop in and ask us if we were ok…he must have seen my posts 
Then the heavy fog rolled in…when I pulled into the main channel my gps said we were going the wrong way…and by golly we were! Alway trust your gps when in thick fog!
We had a couple solid flat bites but couldn’t manage to get them to the boat.

No…not this time…It was a 14 foot boat rented out of Hubs. They lost their gear linkage. Their motor ran great…just wouldn’t go into forward or reverse. 
Nice channel – do you think you could stretch it out towards the camera any more?? 
Anyway, I wanted to ask where you fish the channels at night (not that there’s this upcoming tournament or anything) – do you fish them in the same spots you fish flats, or in the same spots that seem “channelish” during the day? Do you use cutbait?
Hey Flathead! I was wondering when someone was going to mention that…..it was my brother in laws first time catten…It wasn’t that he was trying to make it look bigger…he just didn’t want to get close to it.
He said he lost some respect for me when I gave her a lip lock and sent her back home…not sure what that means…
