    does anyone no of any cat tournaments near pool 8?
    theres a hundred green carp tourny’s but what about the kitty’s?

    Hi Smokey,

    I haven’t heard of too many. The website has one on pool 4 later in August or September. I think the prize is a fishing pole. Generally, us catfisherman are secure with the size of our lower units and do not need to brag about the 5 minnows we caught and culled.

    The IDA cat tourney really isn’t about size…it’s more of a get together with guest speakers that try to help use understand why perfectly normal people would target green carp.

    Gator…In respecting your wishes, I’m avoiding repying with a comment that we talked about in the boat.
    But I really wanted to!

    So, I’m just going to have to let that one go.

    How does that saying go…”What’s talked about in the boat, stays in the boat”. Or did that have something to do with Vegas?

    PS…”Sport”fish?
