hi, everyone I’m going to gutenburg saturday and was wondering how the water looks? also, i’m not very familiar with catfishing and was wondering if anyone could help me find a decent spot there..we could trade spots if youd like i do some smallmouth fishing up there and have decent spots.

I live up in PdC and the water his flowing high and fast…lost of debris coming down your way…If you feel the need to venture out be very careful..lots of lower unit damage could be done with the full size trees that are coming down just under the water…
If i was you i would hold off till the nasty flood goes back down into her banks…
There you go…good advice. As long as you have some time…go back through the old posts on this forum. You will see more good tips than you could imagine.
Once you learn to read the water (what I’m struggling with) you’ll be able to fish for anything anywhere….but that don’t happen over night.

wish i would have seen this before we ventured out and had the full size chevy up to the pipes in water haha..however, we did find a couple cat and lots of stripers. The cat were in flooded timber areas. I thought maybe some would venture back there. the stripers were near the dock chasing minnows out to death valley. PS. I love the comedy. Makes it fun to go through the posts
