Looking for MN river guide

    Hi I’m a new user to this wonderful site and I would like to know if anyone of you catfish gods could help me out learning about cat’s. I’ve read pretty much every book and own all the videos on the subject but I can’t find any good water. I live near downtown Minneapolis and willing to go to pool 5. I’d like to find a good guide and also a guide the fishes the Mn river near pool 2 upstream to shakopee. Can anyone help me out.

    Give Chris “Tuck” Tuckner a shout. He does a ton of cat guiding on the Mississippi River… not sure about the MN.

    I could take you out if you have a boat. I know pool 3,4 the croix and the minnesota near belle plaine very well for cats. I wouldnt charge you anything. I live near minneapolis too. let me know. Ill even get the bait.

    Now that’s an offer I doubt will get turned down. Pretty cool of you BigTime. You’re kinda contradicting all those things your friends told me about you. Apparently your a good guy afterall…LOL

    Just kidding of course. I get pretty silly when I hang out for any length of time in this forum. Don’t know why….

    Yeah that catdad is always spreading the good word about me. How can you help but get a little silly on the catfish board. Catfishermen are the best bunch or fishermen there are. lol

    I dont know about setting a new state record, but we can easily put a bunch of cats in the boat. I will be in mexico still for another week, send me a PM and make some plans.

    Shitman the last time I went fishing with Bigtime I fell asleep!!!! That stretch by bell plaine is unreal, bigtime let me know when you are gonna go….. me and dirk will meet yall over there,,,,,,, No Offense to any guides…. but for catfish on the Minnesota you will be fine without a “professional guide”.

    mavzer i would love it if you can along and passed on some of your wisdom. Last summer we went out the mn river but only caught one cat (10 lber) we had lots of clicks on the reels but no fish. we were upsteam from the 35w bridge. we may have gone up to 3 to 4 miles. we also fished the ford dam. no cats. so any help would be great and maybe what i an learn withsome time with a pro i’ll catch lots more fish. NEW STATE RECORD. Someone should be able to do it this year. that’s my goal.

    You just fell asleep because me and dirk were hammering all the fish. I guess I can show you my stretch of river down there.LOL
