I just got my May – June In-Fisherman magazine and I see Dirk Wassink is published Again!! There is a great flathead article on page 56 titled: “Giant flatheads Now” by Dirk. I finished reading it late last night and almost went out and hooked up the boat to head for the river. You know how to fire up the flathead fever, Dirk. Well done and informative piece – Great Job.

Thanks guys. I tried to give flatheaders a little bit different slant on fishing for these beasts other than the generic “snag fishing” stuff. The jigging I kept pretty quiet till now but it really was a hoot hooking into those fish last summer. Looks like the flatheads love the Kalin tails too . For those of you who give it a try this year let me know how it goes. There’s lots of room for improvement and refinement for that technique. Thanks to Mr. Stange for giving me a shot at both articles and also Mr. Hoffman for making a bunch of scattered ideas/words into something enjoyable to read.

I’d be out tonight but it was just a bit too nasty. They’re are out there waiting boys….go get em!!
