During the summer I due lots of catfishing from shore on pool 2. With the high water all of my spots are impossible to fish. Anybody willing to give up any info about pool 2 shore fishing opportunities would be greatly appreciated.

Didnt see them catch anything, but I saw some guys fishing cut bait in the slack water by Crosby Farm. Unusally 2-3′ but with the high water it is up to 8-10′.

I went to hidden falls yesterday. Half the parking lot was flooded, but if you park and follow the shore towards the dam you can find a decent spot where the “hidden falls” enters the river. There is a bridge there, and there is alot of slack water in the area. I would suggest getting some shrimp and soaking them in vanilla overnite. Then just throw out with a .5-1 ounce weight and just let it sit……..IF your going for flatheads, you know the deal: live bait only…….But for channels (especially bigger ones) the vanilla shrimp work great.
