Hey…. i was curious if any of you other catboyz ever go out and try to score on some channel cats early in the season. But i am not talking about normal early season fishing. What i had in mind was areas where all the winter kill shad pile up after dieing. I know in some real shallow areas or windblown shorlines can load up with dead shad. PLus, they sometimes seem to stink up slower moving water areas. I would assume channel cats would feed heavily in these stinky swarms of dead shad.

Does any body try fishing these spots way early in teh year.

    just curious.

    Hey MCK!

I’m still iced in. But I’m thinking you are getting a real itch to start cutting bait!

Too bad about that cell phone. I’ve got about 200 snow gooses decoys that I let my very special friends use at very reasonable rates. The ones with clear cell phones….no static. Oh well!!
