I hear they are catching them on the ice in Nashville. This pretty girl is celebrating getting one.

Boyd “The Scratcher” and his son were out with me on Friday before the electricity shagged us off the river. We picked up to shorts as the walleye guys would say…but around 15 pounds she was a scrapper!

Don lucked into a 36 pounder on Saturday. Only bite of the night but he went home with a smile!

An amazing day with SharpTailer and grandson on Sunday. I do not get much kid time in my boat but I do love every minute of it.

The young man puts and rod between his legs and let’s the catfish punish his marbles, to our entertainment… So when I got home that day I ordered a fishing belt for him!!

10# channel cat off of the Mississippi a couple days ago. Had 2 nice ones in an hour of fishing with chicken livers. Other one was 5#.

Atta way boys, nice fish

Finally got a good cat night in. Hit the Minnesota River and had about 5 bites in the first hour and landed 3. All channels, all about 5-7 lbs. not huge but really fun to get on some cats.

46.4 lb pig. From last night in pool 4 hit the line like a freight train!

Had another one that ran under the logs and couldnt get it out

Also had 7! Big hits in the middle of the channel that instantly cut 100lb braid like a razor. They were all huge and cut line like ive never seen. On both cut bait and whole sucker (5-7″ size) maybe a huge pike?

All in all fun night.. im for sure hooked on fishing again. Got a boat now so im going to use it and then use it again.
