Catfish bite

    Is good. Caught several from shore at typical early summer spot. 3#-8#ers

    Mosquitos were awful. Didn’t plan well, they went thru my thin long sleeve, jogger shorts and mesh water shoes. At one point the moon came out and I counted over 20 buggers hanging out on my rod. Plan accordingly, love me some soaking of bait at night but I may be opting for a beer and wings until they die down.

    I’ll be out on the Croix this evening chasing cats. I’m actually pretty excited, buddy’s taking his boat and his nephew and I’m taking my boat and kid. Hopefully it’ll be a cat fest in my normal spot.
    Just have to get out early and catch some bait.
