Hit the ice about 7am. Marked TONS of fish struggled to get them to commit .Did get some fish for a couple from Texas who were on the ice for there first time. Got a chance to meet and fish with Targaman Thanks for sticking around Shane I had a great time

How many fish do you let someone catch with a spoon you gave them before you take it back????

Heres Targa with 27 inches of Petenwell crappie

Will post more pics when I get them.Ended up with about 12 crappies a few short walleyes a couple whitebass and 6 catfish.

I just got a snosuit wow are they nice may just get me out of my “wuss hut” more often

Thanks for the fun day Gut! It was great to meet you and just to let you know I really do have a portable gps and I marked the spot! Kidding of course… I also want to let wim know that gut was out of the wuss hut for extended periods of time today.

He was showing off. Give it time, he’ll be back in for the whole day. He won’t fish in the boat this time of year, because I won’t let him put the wuss hut in the boat.

Tough day but it sure beats basket weaving or quilt making…

Sounds like it has been tough since last Thursday, including up here in Minocqua!!! I marked hardly anything late in the day on the 27th and we tried a very good pike spot yesterday and struggled to even get flags yesterday, then moved to another area close to deep water trying to see if we couldn’t contact some crappies. Got off an edge, got some marks going off the bottom, not risers either, those that just come in from the side!!! Nothing would hit, horizontal, vertical, only thing was they would steal the waxie over the red spike… high sunny skies and light winds forecasted, can’t get any better than that!!!
