A little late on posting the report but 4 of us fished out of Kitchi the week of Memorial Day. Water temps were mid to high 60’s at arrival and didn’t change much over the week. Fished hard for our limit of walleyes. Some days the eyes were in 7-12′ near the cabbage beds. Other days we did better deeper 15-20′ fishing the breaks. Caught all eyes on leeches or cranks. Found some bluegills in the shoreline pencil weeds but the size ran smaller than years past. Found a limit of Perch on Cass again the size ran on the smaller than normal size with lots of 8-9-10″ fish but not a lot of the big jumbos.
Good luck to all heading up! Mayflies were hatching fairly steady all week, but no big swarms.
