Awesome! Where do you live that you’re seeing grouse?

Ripley will sit and watch squirrels in the trees and even attempt to climb. rotflol

Phillips Wisconsin, I have federal forest east and north for 50 miles and state / county forest north and west for 15 miles roughly. All of it is managed for grouse!

Awesome! I hope grouse numbers are up this fall. Billy and I got one last season. Just one, but man they are delicious!

    That’s just plain hilarious.

Grouse are my favorite game bird. I’d be hard pressed to find a better eating bird.

We saw zero last fall at the cabin. We’d hear them occasionally but they didn’t show themselves much. It was real wet up there last fall so we didn’t spend much time on the cut trails either so I can’t say there were fewer.
