I know the carpet on the floor is removable but what do you guys do with the carpet on both decks using cut bait ?
In the past i did not think much about it but now with my future MX, well i dont want it looking like an old 2500 dollar tin boat. Lol
    Thanks

Depending on what you will be doing for rod holders, find or modify a cutting board to fit your rod holder or track system.

I’d get one of those white cutting boards with the handle. Cut bait and rinse in the water.

Ryan and hunter Joe thank you for your replies. I have been playing around with some ideas along those lines.

I was more along the lines of from casting. In some cases i will just cast and set lines for those out fishing with me and then there are times when they can cast their own lines.

It is then that i have had blood and such spilled or dropped on the decks and some times i catch it right away and others i dont. Either way, i sure am not going to go around carpet cleaning all night. Lol

Wish the decks had snap in carpet too or a vinal offered.
    Thanks again

there’s very little that gets into the carpet that a power washer won’t fix.
don’t lose sight of the fact that it’s still a fishing boat…for fishing.

give it a good coat of stain guard, anything will rinse away after that.
or you can do all of the cutting in a shallow plastic or rubber tub.

    Both really good ideas !!
Thank You very much and the stain guard does sound like a winner to me.
