Carhartt Storm Defender Angler Rain Gear

Stumbled into the Carhart store the other day and they had some rain gear that caught my eye. I tried the bibs and jacket on and it was a great fit. Seems very well constructed and at $169 each the price seemed very reasonable.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with this series of rain gear?

They would be a no for me, the leg zipper does not come up to the side near far enough for the bibs.

I wear them at work and beat them to hell and back. Have been very good, I would buy them ( boss bought my last set).

Damn. I’m definitely in need of some good quality rain gear but I’m not sure I can convince the wife that I need to spend $1000.

These look really nice, especially the price.

I bought the Storm Defender bibs and jacket last year based on the price compared to other big brands and brand reputation. I’ve always had good luck with Carhartt work wear. The rain gear has been great, no complaints and surprisingly warm for how light they are.

When you say “Carhartt store” were you talking on-line store or a brick & mortar store?

I need rain gear but need to try it on. Won’t buy it on-line.

Yes, this is where they had them. Good selection in a couple of different colors.
