What is a good way to wash them up quick before canning? I did about 15 quarts this year. Hand washing each is a slow process when they are smaller.
All our plants are on trellises so the cucumbers are not at all dirty. Rinse them well in cold water and rub with the hands a little or just let them rub together and its done. Very easy to clean if they start out almost perfectly clean.
Did the clothes washer trick years ago. That worked ok also. Just dump them in the clothes washer on gentle and let them agitate for a short time. Don’t add detergent.
