Canadian Dealer?

Has Skeeter stopped selling into Canada? The website lists 3 Canadian dealers within a 8 hour drive of Toronto. I’ve spoken with 2 who confirmed that they no longer sell them and the 3rd won’t return emails or calls. I emailed corporate and no response there either.

I’m buying a twenty-foot glass tiller for great lakes so there are only a few options out there and the wx2000t is top of my list. But, I’m really worried about the lack of apparent Canadian support.

As an aside, I emailed the Canadian Warrior rep this morning and got a response in 5 minutes.

Hoping someone has some good news for me.

Sounds like Skeeter is your top choice but I would seriously look at Warrior. Sorry, can’t help with dealers.

Just look for a good Yamaha dealer to handle motor warranty. The hull, any problems you have can be handled warranty wise during the winter. If you find a dealer a long ways away be sure they understand you need a exceptional job of them checking things before delivery including a on water test. They should check all live well plumbing and pumps. In addition get it written on your contract how the boat will be picked up and delivered (at who’s cost) should a warranty claim on the hull be necessary. I’m running a WX2000T that I got this year and am very impressed and happy with it.

Good luck, boat shopping is fun!!!
