I like to run them in a net and leave them in the water to calm down. Everybody does it their own way. Really not a right or wrong way as long as you aren’t dropping them and bouncing them off the floor. Have you ever tried a glove? I didn’t like it but I know some guys do like them and it saves their hands.

Ditto fish never leaves the water except for a pic. Neither does the net.
    Nice fish ugly hands.😀

I’ve got one of those Lindy snag proof gloves. I always forget to use it because I’m so excited that I just caught a muskie.

We also have a set of gloves in the boat. For some reason we never seem to use them. I have used them a few times and they work well. Its probably the hassle of digging them out and putting them on that keeps us from using them more. I’m sure they would save our hands from some damage ( From cuts and nicks anyway – Not sure on hooks to the hand )

That hurts. Here I thought I have rather beautiful hands. I was thinking of becoming a hand model for my next career grin

George has become a hand model. Guess that’s what happens when you avoid manual labor your whole life. -Jerry
